For more than fifty years Carol "Fro" Fromuth dedicated her life to the game of golf, ensuring youth had opportunities to play and grow within the game. This included more than a decade spent serving as the Junior Golf Director for the Gateway PGA Section, more than thirty years of administering USGA Girls Junior events and Qualifiers, a Board of Directors role with the Ladies National Golf Associations, the development of the Accelerated Golf Tour, and what she was most passionate about was being the Head Coach for the St. Joseph's Academy Golf team since 1997!
Through her service to the game, she impacted thousands of lives. There will never be another "Fro", and those who were touched by her are forever grateful.
In an effort to keep her legacy alive, carrying out her life mission to impact youth through golf, a fund has been developed in her honor. Through the donations collected annually, young golfers will have the ability to apply for a scholarship to assist with both junior golf events as well as their college education. Details surrounding these scholarships as well as how to apply are in the development phase and are set to launch no later than May 15th.
